20mo will only nap on the boob - please help!

Hi, DD is 20mo and has taken to only napping if she is firmly attached to the boob. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant, so I've let her get on with it so I can have a break (her nap only lasts about 30 mins anyway).

But I'm increasingly aware that once the baby arrives, this is going to be less feasible. I'm happy to continue feeding DD as long as she wants, but I'd rather she napped without having to have my boob in her mouth.

We lie on the sofa together after lunch and I feed her and Mumsnet. If I unlatch her once she's "asleep" (I don't think it's very deep sleep), she immediately wakes up and screams. She won't then go back to sleep at all, and my break is over.

At night she sleeps 13 hours straight through, and I just read her a story after a feed and she drops of by herself in her own bed. I have tried doing the same routine for a nap, but she resists. Is it worth persevering? I have so little energy at the moment Sad

Thanks for any ideas.
