Sheets vs bags

My DTs are 17 months and 'average' sleepers (lots of kids seem better than them but the lack of sleep is manageable!).

They tend to have their nap in the cot in sleeping bags as well as night time. However, every now and again they fall asleep in the pushchair and it's safest to transfer them to cots and just put a sheet over them. I can't be sure but DTD seems to nap better under a sheet than in a bag. Just curious if anyone else found their toddlers were happier in sheets or possibly even a duvet at this age? Thanks.

I've tried DS under a duvet, he;s fine for naps (so much so that I no longer bother with the bags) but often kicks it off in the night then wakes up from cold. I presume its more of a problem because he goes through more light sleep phases at night as well as the house being colder.

You can always try and see how her sleep is with sheets/blankets. Especially if your house is reasonable warm at night.

Dd is same age and won't tolerate a bag. She has a duvet but won't go under it so sleeps with nothing on her and her bum in the air.
