DS just turned 1.

He used to sleep through then at around 9m began waking for milk again. He would wake, feed and then straight back to sleep no problems... Until now.

Sat and sun night he slept right through (jackpot). On mon he woke at 1 and was wide awake til 3 then again at 5

It appears tonight is similar.

Any ideas?

Is he getting enough to eat during the day? Two bottles morning and evening and three meals breakfast lunch and dinner and two snack in between? It could well be hunger. OR
Too much day time sleep? Morning nap should be shortest and afternoon one longest. If he's fighting the morning nap it may be time to transition to one nap from two. Hope this helps x

Thanks for the reply, was beginning to give up hope.

During the day he eats..

8am weetabix
10am snack (fruit/biscotti etc)
12 lunch (spaghetti hoops/small banana and fromage frais)
2pm offer 7oz (usually drinks most)
4.30 ish tea
7pm 9oz before bed

He has been a little monkey with food - will still not eat finger foods well so I give him lumpy mush for meals and offer finger foods too so that he eats enough but is getting chance to practice with finger foods.

Naps - he tends to only have one a day now although some days I suspect he could do with 2. He used to have two easily but at the mo I can't get him to have a second regardless of how tired he is. I've even tried taking him for a drive to see if that helps him nod off to make the evenings a bit less fraught for him. He just screams in the car rather than nods off.

He's always been a 'whiny' baby. Is very quick to complain about things and very quick to go from happy to distraught l. Tiredness is something he doesn't cope well with at all.
