co-sleeping and a wet bed!

Just wondering if anyone experienced in co-sleeping has any tips on avoiding this. Two nights ago I was woken up by a creeping warm, wet sensation when dd's nappy had leaked at the back and the sheet and matress were soaked. Last night she was sick in the bed, just milkiness but still unpleasant. dd is nearly 11 weeks and I had been quite likeing co-sleeping but don't like getting up in the night to change sheets and scrub the mattress. Any ideas?

I used to put one of the Pampers "bedsheets" under the baby-that soaks up most leaks!

I've got some of those so I could try that. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing some clever trick/idea! Thanks
