Desperate for some sleep advice...

I have a 14 month old little girl that is a nightmare for sleeping at night...I'll start from the beginning..
She's slept through the night brilliantly since she was newborn..then when she got to 7 months things started to go down hill..her first two teeth came through and the British heat wave hit at the the same time at the beginning of the summer this year...and that's when the sleep started to stop..she became difficult but nothing like she is now..at the beginning of August we moved home..she slept straight through our first night in the house..and then after that she just refused to go down..after a few weeks..getting her to sleep wasn't a problem..(unfortunately we made a rod off our own back and nursed her to sleep,we always have)..it's the waking up during the night is the problem...so..she's getting bigger and heavier so I can't nurse her anymore so I wanted to break the cycle and get her to start settling herself..so I spoken to my Hv and family and friends..and they all gave me advice..some worked for a while then she just stopped reacting positively to it all..so as a last resort I gave in and decided to try the controlled crying method that everyone..and I mean everyone I spoke to recommended..she has a bedtime routine..supper, bath, in the night garden then bed. She does depend on bottle of milk to get her off..majority if the time...not always (I've also stopped her milk in middle of night after Hv suggested it..at first it worked and she slept all night..but now I'm back at square one)...so I'm on night two of the ccm..she goes off to sleep no problem..20 mins of crying and she settles, I go in and reassure her at 5 or 10 mins intervals..depending on what kind of cries she uses and the severity of her cries...so she ends up asleep at 7:30...she will sleep right through until 1am and then she will not go back to sleep..I've had 2 all nighters because of it...she stays awake until 8:30 and that's when she decides to go back to sleep..I can't deal with the all nighters anymore..and two nights of the week my hubby can't help at night as he has college classes that he goes too...really hoping that someone can help..my health visitor has been great but can't seem to come up with a solution for the early hour wake up...

Desperate mum in need of a solution.
Thanks in advance xxx

I have no advice I'm afraid but only sympathy.

I think I'm in the same situation as you but a few months behind as I'm still feeding her during the night as it's the only thing that will stop her screaming

I'm desperate to stop but just can't see how! How did you do it? We can't do cc as she shares a room with 3yo sister.

It's a killer isn't it?
I hope you manage to find a solution Brew

I replaced the milk with water, the first night she fought me a lot because I wouldn't give her milk, but the second night she took the water without a problem.. But every baby is different..How old is your little one then?
I honestly don't know how I do it lol it kills me everytime..this is my third all nighter in a row because she wakes up and doesn't go back to sleep...but I would talk with your health visitor or doctor for ways to try and stop babies milk at night..they might come up with something better for you xx
I hope I get a solution soon too :) x
