what can I do??

I know I should stick to a better up and morning thing as our wake up time varys some what - v naughty I know but after a v bad night I bring him into bed with us just so I can have another 1.5 hours b4 we get up (normally around 8 am ish) anyhow we've been following the EASY plan but it's really going to ratchet of late. the time's of everything vary depending on when we get up each day but it's always the same feed play the nap, napping's alwasy done in the cot with blacked out windows/curtains shut. guarenteed thou after 45 mins he'll spit out his dummy and scream so i;ll go in (prob a bit soon but if not it's a full on screaming frenzey then he won't resettle again) put his dummy back in and on a good day he'll have another 45 mins on a bad he'll be sceraming every 10 mins there after till I give in and get him out. if he has his 1.5 hours or 2 hours he'll wake up cooing and smiling.

bed time is at around 8pm - we do a bath at 7.30 (on the dot normally) then dressed in a vest and a feed then a quite cuddles with me in the chair and he's normally asleep by 8.15 at the very lastest (9/10 thou 8pm) but guarenteed at 8.45 ish he'll scream and scream i'll go in sooth him pick him up put the dummy in and he'll go back off after about 30 mins. he'll then wake betwee 2-4 am for a feed. (on a good day nights like last night it was every hour on the hour)

should I sort the day naps out first? i'm sure he's over tired but how can I help him nap longer during the day? is it possible for him to always be tired? I know we need a definate wake up time in fact when his time was 6.30 we/he got on a lot better - perhaps that would help? not sure whta i'm asking here just needing advice/tips. I'm on my own for the next 3 weeks so I want to get this sorted out as if DH says up at night with him he feeds him at 2am then lets him stay awake till 4am when he goes asleep.
