early morning unsettledness.

My DD who is 12mo goes to sleep at about 6.45, settles herself and then sleeps until somewhere between 5-6. At this time she starts murmering, moaning and complaining but not crying to get up. She doesn't fall back to sleep then wants to get up about 6.45. I wouldn't mind if she was well rested, but she is sooo tired and grizzly all morning until her nap, that I don't know what to do. I know if I went in to try to re-settle her she would think it was time to get up (I've tried). Does anyone have experience of unsettled behaviour at this time? I've tried the usual early waking techniques (shortish nap not before 9.30) and she is getting a fairly long afternoon nap. If her bedtime is any later she gets overtired and can't fall asleep. For her own happiness, she needs to properly sleep until about 6.30am but she's unsettled for a long time before this.

Any experience or advice would be gratefully received.
