How much does your 8 week old sleep?

I think I am really lucky with my DS as he sleeps very well and often does 5-6 hour stretches through the night, though sometimes he resists his daytime naps and it takes ages to get to him off to sleep.

I only try to make him nap when he has yawned a few times so would appear tired, which is usually after about 1.5-2 hours of awake time, but am I forcing too much sleep on him? When he does nap he can often sleep for up to 2.5 hours! He naps three times a day, after each daytime feed (he is ff and goes 4 hours between feeds). Just wondering if I'm creating unnecessary battles for myself throughout the day...
