My dd had always been ok at night...up one or twice max and we'd been coping well. Since Thursday though she's been up every hour since two am feeding...I can set my watch by her. She's now wanting to feed less often during the day and sleeping more then. I can't cope...it takes me ages to get back to sleep and then she's awake again or just keeps kicking and grunting in her cot. I'm ebf and she won't take a bottle. I can't really sleep when she sleeps during the day as she will only settle in my arms...if I don't do this she gets seriously overtired and screams like a banshee. The doc said she was one of the loudest babies she'd heard...very high pitched and hurts your ears. I'm sitting her feeding her just now and I could cry...my head hurts so much. Any help or advice?

Oh and we have a Co sleep cot so she's really as close to me as possible

Are you sure it's not just a growth spurt? Mine are 10w on Thursday and according to the wonder weeks app we're in the 'second leap'. In the 'first leap' I noticed a distinct change in their feeds - going to 2 hours at night, and it's the same this time.

Maybe..u would've thought she'd be more interested in feeding during the day though? She woke at five but I offered boob and she refused...I changed her and have her a funny and she went back over for a bit. She keeps sucking her left hand and I think it wakes her so I held it for a bit and that seemed to work

pink my 9 wo seems to be doing something similar. Waking every 2 hrs like clockwork for small feed. Bf but bottles at night as I can't get him off me otherwise. Only takes about 60ml before nodding off or refusing any more. I also have a co sleeper & I wake to hear him mumbling and chewing his hands, ignore him for a bit, try to resettle before feeding him. Never long enough for him to get upset though. He feeds less in the day & I can't get him to take anymore! Maybe it is a growth spurt?
