DS is 16mo and using a 1 tog sleeping bag just now but I feel it's getting colder and was going to buy him a heavier one. He has a duvet on his cotbed that came with his bedding set should I just use that or will he wriggle out and get cold? Also when do you introduce a pillow?

I kept ds1 in a sleeping bag until he went into a bed at 3 - stopped him wriggling out and getting cold and also hindered attempts to climb out of the cot. Ds2 is 18mo and definitely needs a sleeping bag as he's a real little climber and would be out in a shot given half a chance Grin

I use a video monitor so I see how much she moves, and I expect most babies are the same- real wriggles in sleep! With that in mind I think a sleeping bag is best, especially eith it getting cold now. Not sure about the pillow question though.
