So, 2 wks ago ds was bottle fed ebm and ff due to latch/birth trauma issues, since resolved by cranial osteopathy. He would feed every 3 hrs, sleep in Moses basket in day & co sleeper c

Whoops, stupid phone....

Crib at night. Fast forward to this week, back on the boob, but now a proper velcro baby who is very, very unhappy when put down. Feeding every 2-2.5hrs, naps between feeds. If he's put in moses basket then naps 40 mins max, if left to sleep on me then he'll sleep to the next feed. He has become very fussy for about 3 hrs late eve, constant feeding, agitated, screamy baby for no apparent reason. I take him to bed when I go about 10 as we've had no luck in getting him there earlier. It takes about 30 mins to settle with a feed, Ewan and cuddles before he goes down & I retreat or go to bed.

Problem is, he wakes after an hour or less. Sometimes he'll feed, not always. If I'm lucky he'll sleep for 2 hrs at some point in the night but the rest of the time I spend either feeding (no issue with that), soothing and putting him down only to start it all again an hr later. Last night I even began to regret getting the bf back as he slept much better when bottle fed.

I'm knackered and can't think straight. Is this normal behaviour? Should I not let him sleep so much in the day? Am I setting a course for horrific sleeping in the future? I don't want him in bed with me as I'm terrified of SIDS but he'll only settle on me or dh for any length of time.

Sorry for epic post. Any advice or words of wisdom appreciated.
