5mo unlearning her good sleep habits

DD has turned 5mo today and for the last couple of weeks has slowly been undoing all the progress she's made with self settling.

She used to be perfectly capable of sending herself of at nap times and bedtime (for about a month). Now she is getting more and more difficult and naps need rocking and a dummy.

She's also waking in the night and rooting, but just uses me as a dummy which she's never done before.

She had a few nights of multiple wakings at 16wks which could have been the 4m regression. So not sure if its that rearing its ugly head again? Otherwise she has just mastered rolling and has entered the '5th wonder week leap' so could be either of those too?

Whatever it is, what's the likelihood of her self settling again (if this is just a phase?) Will we have to start from scratch again?

Sorry but sleep isn't a continuous journey of improvement. You have blips, sometimes they need you more than others and that's just how it is. I would just keep giving her a chance but go with what works. She will get back to better sleep in time.

Thanks CreatureRetorts, I hope it is just a blip too!
