DD 1yr old and v sleepy - bit concerned... teething???

DD is sleeping all night but a bit restlessly, tossing and turning and occasionally crying out, she wakes at 7am on average every day but is then cuddley and clingy all morning, sucking her thumb (her tired reflex) and wanting to lie down but if I try to put her in her cot for a nap she wont sleep, cries until I go back in for her.
(We dropped her morning nap about 1 month ago as she refused to sleep.)
Today she cuddled up to me at 10am and fell asleep on my lap for an hour then slept at lunch time for 2 more hours. She is still showing tired signs but I know that when I put her to bed at 7pm she will cry and cry.
She also has a little cold and a cough.

Could this just be teething? She's never been like this with teeth b4 and she has 10 of them but my friend told me it's teeth.

Cant help being concerned as she's always been so full of life and energy!!!

Sounds like it's more to do with the cold and cough ... she's probably fighting something and feeling grotty. Possibly getting teeth too which will make her feel even worse.

You will probably find she is fine to go to bed as normal ... just look for the tired signs and follow her normal routine. Sounds like she's normally a great sleeper so she will probably go to bed as usual.

If mine are feeling grotty and like that, I would perhaps give some calpol to help them feel a bit better.

if you are worried take her to the GP to put your mind at rest, i'm at the point now where i don't care if the docs think i'm over-reacting (which they don't coz luckily i have fantastic gp)where my childs health is concerned, as LP says it is probably cold and teething but its never a wasted trip to the GPs to be sure Grin
