My dd has always slept really well although we suspect she was always a bit jealous of attention given to her little sister who had a dreadful sleep pattern up until about 6 months ago.
Recently she has started crying at bed time saying she doesn't want to be on her own. She denies being frightened of anything and agrees that if any one is in the room with her she isn't able to sleep. I think part of it is she finds it boring waiting to go to sleep!
She is quite an anxious child so we have been trying to get her more relaxed before bedtime and spending longer reading stories but we still have the same result.
She's not slept before 9pm for the last week, I am worried about her and wondered if anyone had any ideas?
