So for the past 2 nights it has taken about 2.5 hours to get him to sleep. I switch between feeding (ebf), rocking/swaying, singing, bouncing on gym ball. several tines he looks like he is sleeping, then I put him into his basket and he wakes in a couple of minutes.
all advice thankfully received x

Try white noise, and swaddling or a grobag? If you can manage to get them to drift off to sleep in their cot then that can help as well...

Have you tried the sling? Mine would fall asleep in 5 minutes with that and nothing else would (except breastfeeding too).

Getting a rocking base for the moses basket really helped. m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-rocking-moses-basket-stand-natural/p230870219
