I am a worrier so looking for advice or reassurance. Baby is 4 months old but was 6 weeks prem. She's a contented smiley baby, awake most of the day, usually 3 short naps then goes to bed after a feed about 10 am and sleeps through to 8 am, sometimes later. She's gaining weight fine and seems healthy, but do you think we should wake her earlier for a feed? (Bottle fed btw). Or should I stop worrying and count our blessings?

Not my baby btw, but young teenage mum (our gd who lives with us and I have to help and advise). She's not worried, but its so long since I had a baby. And I suspect my anxieties are connected to the whole situation. She is ok, isn't she?

If baby is gaining weight fine then there is no need to worry and certainly no need to wake a sleeping baby. If baby is hungry, baby will wake and cry.

Babies need a lot of sleep in the early days. Go with the flow and yes, count your blessings and enjoy this time.

Yes, 10pm. Thank you for reassurance. I'll stop fretting, or more likely find something else to worry about.
