Hi , my dd is 17 months and bed on a nursery day is 630 and other days between 645-7 . She wakes around 7( usually wakes around 4-5 but I can get her back to sleep with some milk ) I'd like to put her down later but she can't last .....

maja00 · 12/08/2013 20:03

Around 8pm.

JassyRadlett · 12/08/2013 20:04

Mine is nearly 2. We start bathtime just before 7 and he's usually in bed around 7.30.

4yoniD · 12/08/2013 20:05

Should be 7, but with the school holidays, older sister still playing and light evenings it's slipped to more like 8.

forevergreek · 12/08/2013 20:05

2 and 3 year old 8.30-9pm. ( they wake 8.30-9am, and nap 2 hrs in the day)

LittleBlondeNinja · 12/08/2013 20:06

My son doesn't nap in the day at all so ive been putting him down at 6.30pm ish and he is out like a light but I feel it may be too early....he went down at 7pm tonight lets see what time he gets up hmm....

7ish depending on if she napped during the day

birdofthenorth · 12/08/2013 20:07

Honestly, we aim for 7:30 but it's often more like 8:30. Toda

birdofthenorth · 12/08/2013 20:08

Whoops... Today was 7:15 though due to a minor miracle!

silverangel · 12/08/2013 21:42

7, Asleep for ten past. I let them out of their routine on holiday and they wanted an extra nap at around 5pm for half an hour and this got them through until 9 most nights, even half eleven on one night. This is why I don't let them sleep past 1pm!

Poosnu · 12/08/2013 21:59

Bath at around 6.45 pm and bed after that - usually asleep by 7.30. Up around 7am, sometimes a bit earlier.

onlysettleforbutterflies · 12/08/2013 22:01

7:45 usually and out like a light, up at 7ish.

7.30 normally... however dd3 (2) is driving me crazy with her bedtime antics since moving in to a bed last week's

She is currently messing about until 8.30 / 9pm at least. Nightmare.

Locketjuice · 12/08/2013 22:05

Aim for 7.30 ends up 8.30/9 a lot!

GampyWabbit · 12/08/2013 22:06

sounds like we're having a similarly fun time at the moment tunnock?!

elQuintoConyo · 12/08/2013 22:06

DS 20mo. Up at 8, 2-3hr nap mid-afternoon, bed at 10/10.30ish.
I'm a sahm, DH works from home all hours, DS doesn't go to nursery, we live in Spain - it's unheard of to go to bed before 8/9. Even for this age.
DH went to a blues concert last night, kids aged 2/3/4 were up dancing at midnight. Totally different vibe.
Locals with kids laugh their arses off when they see '7:00' on the clock at Peppa Pig's bedtime!

nailslikeknives · 12/08/2013 22:07

7pm, always 7pm because 7.05pm is wine o' clock! WineWineClink!

Pascha · 12/08/2013 22:09

Nearly 3yr old goes up at about 7-7.15pm, usually asleep by 7.45pm.

umiaisha · 12/08/2013 22:12

DS (28 months) is on bed for 6.30, sometimes earlier.

Goes to pot a bit during the school holidays, but he usually has a 3 hour sleep in the day too.

HandMini · 12/08/2013 22:17

26 mo - by 7pm every night, as in apbathed, storied, pyjamaed, random whingey and requests sorted. I try to stick to it rigidly as I'm thrilled to have been able to drop day time sleep finally and I think she needs a full 12 hours sleep at night to be fully functioning.

Overreactionoftheweek · 12/08/2013 22:19

6pm, then up at 6am, with at least a 2 hour nap in the day.

If they go down early and sleep through, don't mess with it!

Mine now refuses to get out of his cot for ages after nap time because he prefers rolling around it and looking at his books in bed...that's my boy Grin

DontstepontheMomeRaths · 12/08/2013 22:19

If mine hadn't had a nap in the day, they were down by 6pm at that age. Tbh they always woke between 6-6.30am no matter what time I put them to bed, so I enjoyed my long evenings. And they had less tantrums from being overtired the following day.

Now they're 4 & 6 years old, my evening isn't half as long Envy Enjoy it I say, whilst you can.

OutragedFromLeeds · 12/08/2013 22:21

Between 7:00pm and 7:30pm. Up around 7am (usually has to be woken). Sleeps 1.5-2.5 hrs at lunchtime (often has to be woken then as well!).

BlingBubbles · 14/08/2013 22:49

My dd goes to bed at 715, we read a story then it's lights out for 730. She probably only goes to sleep at about 745. She wakes at about 4am, climbs into bed with me then goes back to sleep until about 8, when we are back at work she is up at 7. She naps for about an hour in the day, some times slightly more and sometimes less.

If she doesn't nap at all during the day then it's bed at 18:30.
