Hello not sure I'll be much help however my dsd is very similar, can't sleep gets frustrated calls downstairs several times 'I can't sleep'

If there's an answer I'd be grateful too! We tend to stop any screen time a good hour before bed, sometimes a small cup of warm milk and generally keep a relaxed atmosphere so she's able to unwind enough to feel tired. This works fairly often but not always.

What sort of things have you tried?

That's great! I find with dsd she's so hyper if she doesn't get that time of non stimulation and wind down she can still be awake at 10pm then she's grumpy the next day!

Glad it worked, now you too can relax Smile

What does "relaxed wind down" consist of? We do stories quiet time etc - dosent work, am at my wits end, 10o'clock tonight and the 3 year old will be up at 5 (chances are one or other will be up at some stage between). Cant remember last time I had an uninterrupted decent nights sleep - honestly it was better when they were babies.
