Daytime naps and a wedding - 18 weeks

Hi All

My DD will only nap in the day if she's cuddles up close to me with her dummy in and holding onto something (comforter / my hair etc) but before she will settle she screams the place down for about 15mins before sleeping / waking / crying again every few mins until she finally drops off but I really struggle to then move her without her waking up again.

I am off to a wedding next weekend and Im dreading her doing this routine and screaming the place down through the meal etc

Does anyone have any tips on how I can try to get her to sleep on her own in her pushchair etc - I have a week to try and desperately get any sort of routine!

Will she sleep in a pushchair if you walk her? That's what i've done at weddings. Took her off outside so not annoying anyone! Also took a monitor so could leave her in a quiet room to sleep during meal. Obviously depends on what the venue is like.

Sorry if no help sure others have better advice!
