Double sleeping trouble

Aaagh my two DDs have decided to work together to make sure we all have no sleep.

I know they're not as bad as some of the sleepers on here but if you could help me see the wood for the trees in my sleepy fog, I'd be grateful

In short DD1, 2.6yrs has just started randomly waking up. We live in a noisy street but this is a recent thing. Is this a developmental thing for this age? We go in, make sure she's ok then tell her we'll be back in the morning and leave. She cries for about ten minutes and goes back to sleep.
How can I get her to stop waking? It's not every night but still Confused

DD2 6 months also, understandably wakes up and just needs a dummy plugging in to re-settle.

So do we ditch the dummy and help DD2 to learn to settle without it or will she just.learn at her own pace?

Thanks for reading all this
