Hi , how many naps does your 15 month old have ? Just interested really to see how we compare . At nursery and my mums during the week my dd will have a nap after lunch around 12 till 130 ish but when she s at home with me she s standing at the bottom of the stairs at 1030 am to go for a nap !! She then naps till about 1145 has lunch then either we keep her busy till bedtime or she has another hour in the afternoon . I m a bit worried today that she is going to b grizzly as we are going swimming at 2 and between the time she gets back and bed time she will be really tired which equals an upset baby .... Any thoughts ? X

We finally dropped two naps around 17 months.

But had an earlier nap. So 9.30am, a 30 ish min nap. Then that kept them ok until 12.30/1 for 2 hr afternoon nap.

Hi Forevergreek, thanks for the advice , I think in general she has dropped down to one nap it's just sometimes at the weekend she seems to want 2 . We be had quite a chilled morning today , not energetic but by 10 she was running her eyes !! It makes me wonder why she doesn't go down when she s at nursery and running around using up energy !

My 15 month dd is exactly the same at the moment. At nursery she does 1 after lunch but today at home she only slept an hour from 10 to 11. I really try not to let her have a 2nd unless she is passing out on me as if she does she won't go to sleep in the evening till really late and ends up in a mess. I'm just hoping it will sort itself out in time.

Thanks Hear my roar , we ended up taking her swimming today , her first time , by the time we got home she was really grizzly but it was tea time by then , after we played and she went down at 7 so in the end she didn't have her second nap .
