Around 9 months old - how much sleep?

How much sleep does/did yours have at 9 months-ish? My DS goes 11/12 hours through the night and then has two naps, one at 9am and one at 1pm which used to be 1.5hrs long each but now stretching to 2 and sometimes 3 hours...

Sounds almost the same as my ds. He sometimes also had a short afternoon nap (30-40 mins) at about 4pm/5pm though I think he stopped that by about 8 months old.

He started having regular daytime naps at about 6/7 months old and the morning nap used to be 1-2 hrs and the afternoon one was the same then the morning one got shorter and the afternoon one got longer.

Most of my friend's children gave up their morning naps (if they had one) before a year old but ds still sometimes has a short morning nap around 9am/10am at 18 months old. He pretty much always has a nap after lunch between 12pm and 3pm for about 2-3 hrs.

I did encourage this a bit as I found if he slept too long in the morning I had trouble getting him to sleep in the afternoon and he was really really grumpy as a result and would conk out for the night at 5.30/6pm. Resulting in an early wake-up. Mind you he now goes to sleep at about 8pm and still wakes up by 6am at the latest Sad
