How to change a natural waking time?

Ds is 6. Great sleeper, goes to bed no problem. But whatever time he goes to bed, whether 7pm or 8.30pm, he wakes somewhere between 6.15-6.45am. And wakes me up too.

Has anyone got any idea of how to shift his wake time to an hour later? I don't mind him being up later if he would get enough sleep but he's tired after a later night. It would help to shift his waking time as I've just started a new job and we don't have much time in the evenings if I try to get him to bed around 7.

good luck with that..... DS1 woke at 6am until he was about 10. Now, his younger brother has taken over the 6am baton but at least he is now old enough to go downstairs and turn the Wii on without me noticing
