Can this possibly last??

Dd is 2 days shy of 12 weeks old and for past 3 nights has slept through her first feed. She goes to bed about 9pm and doesn't wake again until 5.30am! Can this really be true?? Will it last or is it just wishful thinking... She is ebf so I thought it would be several more months before she was able to do this. She is gaining weight and having lots of wet nappies is 1-2 bm per day and is generally content throughout the day although is a chronic 40 minute napper.

Anyone experienced this? What should we expect?

Enjoy it while it lasts! Enjoy every single minute! My lb was ebf for the first 3 months & went down 10-6 a few times at around 6-12 weeks! I thought I'd killed him every morning when I saw the clock lol I wish I just enjoyed it! He is a bouncy 18 month old now! If a baby is hungry they will let you know! It will be up & down & then you will get your routine real soon :)

My lo was doing 8-6 at that stage. Hit 4 months and spent 6 weeks waking every hour through the night. Now at 6 months he's just about settled back down again with one feed and the odd wake up. Enjoy her while she's sleeping and get lots of sleep yourself. Maybe she will stay that way. I hope she does xx

Thanks for replies! Unfortunately it wasn't meant to last... Last night she was asleep by 8 then awake at the usual 1am feed then back down by 2 and awake again by 3! We did have a small breakthrough in that dh managed to settle her at 3 without her needing a boob. She then slept til 6 when u brought her into bed for early morning feed/snuggle/doze.

Maybe she'll do it again sometime soon! Really hope so xx
