Who would have thought 6:15 would be a lie in? I'm over the moon!
After doing the petrifying ordeal that is the wake to sleep technique for a few days, instead of waking at 05:30 or earlier (sometimes before 5am) my 16mo woke at 6:15. Much more civilised!
Really hope it wasn't a one-off....

Congratulations! It's great when you crack something isn't it?

What is this wake to sleep thing- DS2 amongst other sleep issues has started to wake earlier about 5.30 and I'm not all that impressed with it!

Wake to Sleep is when you set your alarm for an hour before they normally get up, then rouse them slightly but don't wake them fully. You do it for 3 nights in a row and then see if it works.
He was up at 5am this morning though - I can't face trying it again...

Meant to add: then see if it works. If it doesn't, try it again for 6 nights.

Hi, just wondered how you were getting on? Hope it's still working.

I'm afraid not - he woke at 04:50 today (even worse, I woke up at 04:40!).
There were some mornings when I'm not sure if I roused him enough. I can't face trying again though!
