Camping with baby

Can anyone recommend suitable sleep-wear for a 7 month old going camping in the Outer Hebrides in 2 weeks time (his dad's idea, I hasten to add!) I've been looking for extra-warm (3 tog+) gro-bags with sleeves but can't seem to find any so far - do they exist? He always wriggles out of blankets. Anyone done similar and found a solution?

Slumbersac's 3.5 tog sleeping bags have long sleeves (it's not clear from that page but if you click through to the individual designs they have a picture with sleeves).

Vertbaudet do some I think

It will be bloody freezing though... Are you at a campsite with electric hook ups? You could take a plug in radiator with you? (I'm such a camping softy)

It's not a cheap option but you can then get their sleep suits with quilted arms...

You'd have to look at their info to see if that covers sufficiently cold temps.

We're camping next weekend with our 7/12 old. I've bought this rather than a sleeved sleeping bag. Thought of doing long sleeved vest, sleep suit, this then 2.5 tog sleeping bag.

We are currently camping with 10mth old. Single duvet for me and dd - DH in sleeping bag, all on air bed. Every night all we can hear is cold little ones crying. We cosleep anyway but so glad we are here - no way she would be warm enough on her own - and we are down south!! X
