I can't let her cry at all, and trying to address suck to sleep association developed when she was younger and poorly and boob was her comfort (no regrets) so trying the NCSS. We co sleep, I can't sleep if she's next door... So how long?

Not positive... but I've been trying for 4 months (now 9mo) and just managed to change sleep association from boob to rocking. DS still up 4+ times per night and awake at 5.30. Sorry, thats not very comforting...

Umm I was afraid of swapping one sleep association for another, it's all getting a bit desperate nowHmm

I'm not sure it really works, tbh, especially if you are co-sleeping. I think it just gives you a comforting sense that you are doing something, which gets you though a few more weeks/months.

ha, yes... and gives you something to do while you wait for them to learn to fall asleep without help :)
