Ideas for getting 6mth in cot for naps during the day

My DS will settle well in his cot at nightime. He will however have a meltdown if he goes in it in the daytime. He likes to nap in his pram but only in his snowsuit(!) which is no longer safe in the warmer weather.

Should I try and reinact the nighttime routine minus the bath. I could do sleeping bag, feed and then cot? Any ideas or success stories. Having a baby nap in the hallway is also a bit tricky too!

Try introducing a comfort blanket / soft toy at nap times in the pram and in the cot at night. If he takes to it try him in cot with this during the day. Otherwise, he may just adjust as he gets older. I used to have this problem with my also 6 month old DD but she goes down in the cot easy now. Hope this helps.

I have a similar issue - dd will only do long naps in pram, she will nap in the cot but only for 35 mins. I do sleeping bag, story and soft toy at nap time and she will settle well, but only sleeps for 35 minutes and won't resettle.

dd also likes sleeping in her snowsuit - but I've found a light cotton cardigan with a hood works quite well as an alternative, as she likes to have a good to snuggle into.
