DD has fallen asleep on the sofa and is still asleep now 2 hours later.

Do I put her straight to bed or wake her up?

All she's eaten today is a cooked brunch about 11am ish, apple and raisins but no dinner.

Am so stupid!

I'd put her straight to bed, but go to bed quite early myself as I would be expecting a very early wake-up Grin

I would get a snacky tea almost ready (scrambled egg and toast?), wake her up, let her pick at it, then put her to bed.

Kif · 08/05/2006 18:51

I would get a milky drink/ milk (age?) ready for a midnight snack.

i think if you wake her properly now she might stay awake for ages ifykwim

Nbg · 08/05/2006 18:52

Thats what I was planning to do Hunker but she's so out of it atm.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Thanks Smile

She's 2.7.

I don't think she'd wake early and if she did it's no biggie as I have to be up tomorrow anyway.

Kif, she'll do exactly that. Be awake for hours. Last time I did this she didn't go to sleep till midnight because I woke her and gave her dinner.

She should be ok with what she's eaten shouldn't she?

Ah, put her to bed. She'll wake up if she's hungry and you can deal with it if she does.

Nbg · 08/05/2006 18:57

Right then
off to bed it is.

If she wakes she wakes.

Note to self
don't do it again.

In bed, no arguments and didn't even want a glass of water so she must have needed it.

Poor thing will be starving in the morning!

Thanks all Smile
