Is it ok to leave your baby to scream if you've just had enough and run out of patience. As simple as that!? :-(

its not ideal but it is understandable to want to get away from the crying. How old is baby? do you have anyone who can take over whilst you have a break?

Have u anyone who can help? What age is baby?

It's always safer to put them in a cot and leave them for a few minutes than end up shouting at them or completely losing the plot yourself. However, have you exhausted all the potential reasons? - hunger even if just fed, cold, hot, silent reflux (extremely common and medication is available from gp), wind, constipation, needs a dummy ... blah blah. Go through the checklist.

Try swaddling?

Hi. He's 15 weeks. It's not a normal thing for him to scream and I know it's tiredness, he's so good normally but the last 2 days he's just fighting going to sleep. He's just screamed for about 30mins and I tried everything lol, had to leave him for 10 mins as the screaming and kicking me was just winding me up. He's asleep now thank god but I don't understand why he's fighting it. It seems to be when his first nap is shorter then normal in the morning it puts him out for the whole day:-(

Agree with above posts and handing him over or leaving him for a moment safely in his cot is better than you loosing the plot. This video from the happiest baby on the block man helped me in the early days with tiredness screaming m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=ddRkI5wVIqQ&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DddRkI5wVIqQ
