DS3 is 4 1/2 moths and so far we've been baby led with feeding/sleeping/playing etc.

However DS will not sleep at all, I might get an hour once or twice a week in the daytime where he will nap but apart from that, zilch.

He doesn't appear tired though, he doesn't cry or anything he just wants to be held and play.

I've tried to take his lead to see if there is a rough time of day he gets tired but it's different everyday. He'll fall asleep on the breast and then wake 3-4 mins later and be wide awake again.

I'm not sure how well he is feeding because he'll be on the breast every 15 mins and clamps his gums together and jerks his head from side to side so I'm very very tender.

Anyway, I'm wondering f I should try introducing some sort of basic routine? Nothing as extreme as GF but just something to try and get some stability into the day night, atm I have nothing to work with at all. Any advice l/suggestions would be awesome.

I think you need to solve the breastfeeding issue before the sleeping one. Although babies do breastfeed often, every 15 minutes is excessive and it shouldn't be hurting you really. perhaps because he needs to keep feeding so often, that is why he can't sleep. I would see a bf specialist to see if he is perhaps not transferring milk as effectively as he should and see if anything can be done to help that.
