dd is 11months and been an okay sleeper till about 9 months and now is v inconsistent. we co sleep on the v bad nights and on the good nights she will sleep in her cot no problem.
she has been ill for 4 weeks with ear infection and been better for about a week after lots of meds and anti b.
when she was ill she slept in with me all night pretty much and dp sleeps on sofa as we.don't have a spare bed and our bed is a small double and dd v wriggly so not enough room for 3 of us. it has been hell as dd kicks, strokes and suckles all night. but that's what we needed to do at the time so just got on with it.
now she is much much better but won't sleep in her cot. she goes to bed at 7 and settles herself but wakes about 9 and screams until i take her to bed with me. if i cuddle her or sit with her she will fall asleep but as soon as i put her in the cot she wakes and screams.
the co sleeping isn't ideal as she strokes my boobs all night. if i don't give her full access to them she screams and she twiddles my nipples.if i wear a top she screams.
i always end up pushed out the bed. i am exhausted.
how can i get her to sleep in her cot again???
really don't want to cc

Can you try a dummy? I had a similar problem with DD 1 (years ago) after poorly ears & the HV recommended one.

I struggled on for a few more days as I hate the things but I have to say it saved my sanity when I did try it as she was a sucky babe & just needed to get off.
