9 month possible sleep regression

So we had an okay sleeper but for the past few nights he has been terrible, waking every 45 minutes screaming.

I think it's a combination of teething and the regression, but is there anything that can help?

Sometimes he will feed back to sleep, others he can be rocked but this can take anything from 15 mins to 2 hours, then without fail he will wake up 45 mins later.

Or is it a case of repeating 'this too will pass'?

I have a similar thing currently. Trying to figure it out. I'm guessing he won't still be doing it at 18, and that somewhere between now and then he'll sort it out.....

Haha thanks, it's so tough the longer it goes on but it can't go on forever

When DS hit around 7.5-8months he went from sleeping through 8-8 to being up every hour and sometimes for hours at a time. We started sleep training two weeks ago and he is back sleeping through again from 8-5am, we are now working on the early wakening! We did the disappearing chair/gradual retreat method and it's been so much easier than anticipated.
