PILLOW PHOBIA!!!!

My DD is 16 months old and I've only just tried a pillow in her cot as I think she should now have one, only to find I think she HATES it! She will lie anywhere but on it. Since she's had it she's been unusually difficult to settle at night. I don't know whether it's the pillow or just coincidental her teeth may be playing her up... Any experiences?

I'd take the pillow out, if she's happy without it then don't rock the boat.

Why do you want her to have a pillow? If she is comfortable without it, I would let her carry on. Ds is 18m and is just starting to seek out a pillow when he is in our bed but still doesn't want one to sleep. Maybe come back to it later?

My dd1 aged 3y6mo still doesn't have a pillow.

Put it back in the cupboard! she doesn't want it, she certainly doesn't need it.

agree with putting it away. I never put a pillow in a cot. They had one once they went inot beds, but it still took a while before they started using it.
