Thanks to everyone who suggested ways of calming down post-weaned boobs!
Sadly I need a bit more advise on the whole weaning thing.
It was going really well. DH following the Baby Whisperer rules and sleeping alongside DS in his own room and bed to try and a) wean him and b) get him out of our bed after nearly 2 yrs!
So, he was practically sleeping through and not really making a fuss at bedtime. Amazing.
Then, he got a fever a virus and it all went pear shaped. DH continued to sleep in the same room with him and the first night or two he slept ok. The last few nights he was woken quite frequently and asked for me. I have slept with him durung the day, getting him to sleep by lying on me.
Now, 7 nights after the first attempt he has just woken up (12:56am) and is howling the place down.
Should we have just reverted back to the norm while he was ill?
Does he now distrust me and will feel abandoned in his hour of need?
Might he go back to how he was when he feels much better?
I think he has roseola - has anyone ever had that?!

Yours with lots of questions on the go Blush
