How many naps and for how long does at 6 - 7 month old need. I have no idea and I just follow my babies lead but I feel I should have some idea what is normal and when things are likely to change.

Hi potas. I nearly posted this question earlier! Mine is 7 months. Today he had 75 mins this morning and 45 after lunch. However I could tell he was still tired so he has been snoozing on my knee for the last 30 mins. We don't have a routine as such as we do different things each day, but 2 naps is usually the norm. How about you?

Usually half an hour to an hour in the morning about 9.30 and a bit longer in the afternoon about 2.30 but then some days he needs a power nap about lunchtime. Today however woke up an hour early - had a half hour nap this morning and half hour this afternoon and full of beans. ? All of a sudden he seems to need less.
