It does get better, daytime naps and night

Just thought I'd write something which I hope will encourage and give you some hope if you're feeling the baby blues esp. first time. My dd2(b/f) will be 28 weeks on Saturday and the 6 month mark seems to have been such a milestone, on the night she turned 6 months exactly she slept thru for the first time ever i.e 12 hours and since then bar 2 nights last week she has continued, last night she slept from 6.30pm to 8.30am. What bliss! It has not been easy -between 15 weeks and 21 weeks she was waking sometimes every 2 or 3 hours, it was hard maybe you are going thru that now - It will get better. I started simple solids at 22 weeks ( I know) and straightaway she stretched to 4,5, 6 hours.

AND FOR all you with poor daytime sleepers as my dd2 was from 10 weeks onwards, she's has now gone from 30 catnaps to this last couple of weeks 30 mins am nap and then having 1 - 2 hours at lunchtime. At last So perserevere putting your babies down in their cots because one day it will happen. Hope this helps someone, by the way from memory dd1 settled down with the naps from 6 months ish too.
