Why is my DS sleeping?

Always its been 3 x 45 mins, and I mean always. Well unless of course its less, never longer. However, lately something strange is going on. On odd days now he's sleeping for 1.5 hours. He's doing it now. Annoying really as we should be at baby group drinking tea and eating biscuits but there you go. He picks his moments.
Maybe we've turned a sleep corner. Perhaps that's the 4 month sleep regression over. Hmm I doubt it and anyway 9 month sleep regression is weeks away. I hope he wakes up soon, I've already bought a new jacket and some jeans Grin

Is he trying to cut out a nap maybe so lengthening his other naps? DS did this over Christmas, he is 8mo.

Obviously he's just messing with your mind :)

They do just start doing it. My DS did around this age. The irony is, you then start waking them up from these long naps you've waited months for, as they start having too much day sleep!

It's a minefield....

I think DS read the Gina Ford book I'd left lying on the table (I read on here someone used GF for routines so I had a glance and her naptimes were 9am and 12:30 - exactly what DS that day.
I think he is trying to drop a nap. God I wish he could talk my head is done in over thinking shit all the time.
Waking him? Hell no. Gina says dont let him sleep past half 2. Helluva unlikely in my boy's case anyway :)
