My 14 week baby boy won't nap in his cot during the day. Where does yours like to nap? He only likes car seat or laps!

My dd is now 21 weeks and still won't nap in her cot. She naps on the move in her pram or in a sling. Or she sleeps on my lap post feed. I'm not too worried about it, she's still little!

Our 19 week old will nap (with lots of protesting) in the pram, in the sling, in our arms and on our bed. We are struggling to get her to nap in her cot. She seems to think napping is for wimps :) She sleeps really well at night (without protest) in her cot even though she generally goes down awake.

Yup. We just had 15 minutes of crying followed by a 10 minute nap!

23 week old ds currently napping on my lap whilst I watch tv. I try his cot every so often but always a fail and leads to an over tired baby. He mostly naps in his buggy, in a sling, on me (or dp) or if I am v lucky in his chair. He is slowly getting better at getting him to sleep in his chair ( which I prefer as I can Move around and see him) with naps I find it better to put him in the chair ASAP when sleep as if I wait 10 mins (like I do at night) he wakes up again slightly revived and wanting to play until he gets miserable and tired and then there are real tears and I struggle to get him to sleep! He does have a rough napping schedule where I get him in one of his preferred napping spots. Nothing worse than getting 'stuck' with a napping baby on lap and when trying to get out the house! Also wearing my sling in the house has been a life saver.
