Baby is 15 wks and has been doing 12hr nights, more often than not since 10wks. Until now. He keeps waking once a night. Not crying really, just chatting away and shouting (so I'm not convinced it's hunger). Ive tried ignoring for a bit then trying to sooth with dummy and comforter, but 45mins later i have to resort to feeding (bottle fed) and that works. Any ideas on how i can get him to snap out of it? I've also tried water.

Google 4 month sleep regression. It permanently changes their sleep patterns. I don't think you can get him to snap out if it - he's very little for sleep training.

4 month sleep regression

Waking at this age is very normal and his pattern will change all the time. My DS slept through from 7 weeks and the odd time he would wake I found feeding him helped him go back to sleep however it also encouraged him to wake again on subsequent nights. My DS is growing well and I know he has fed enough in the daytime so by persevering by not feeding him (this could mean comforting him fo 2-3hrs!) it meant on nght following he did not wake.
