My DS is 8 months old and since he was born he has had a bit of a rough time (so have DP and I - lol) as at 4 weeks old he got a cold, from there he was being sick after bottles etc so was diagnosed as a colicky baby, after 6 months of this, it turned out it was actually reflux and only recently have they began tests to find out exactly what the problem is (e.g DS had a barium x-ray today).
Anyway, the last 2 days, DS has shown signs of sickness and diarrohea (on top of teething and everything else) and refuses to go to sleep after a bedtime routine that has actually worked like a charm for some time!
Last night, after being awake for 5 hours, DP had to take DS out for a spiin in the car at 1:30am, DS fell asleep at 2am, returned to bed and slept until 6am (im sure you can see the problem) and tonight is going exactly the same way!!!
Can ANYBODY advise ANYTHING to help the wee angel get to sleep???

I think you might be right because DS does seem to be a little more settled when getting cuddles!
The wierd bit is that during the day, DS goes down for his naps fine but is awake and unsettled at night!
Do colds and teething pain get worse at night???
