Just that dd is ebf - falls asleep on my lap which is fine as its my mealtimes - loves the baby bjiorn carrier and will snooze in that if I'm doing jobs/walking - but what happens when I go back to work - got another 6 mths but is it time to start gradual transition to something else? What did you do? xx

I think it depends a bit on what your childcare arrangements are going to be when you go back. When I'm at work dd is cared for by dp on 2 days and my DM on 1 day. Dp naps her on his lap, my DM in her pram. It did take a little bit for her to adjust but was fine after a week or so. However, obviously she is getting 1-2-1 care from people who had the patience and time to spend lots of time walking her in the pram or rocking her for those first few days while sh got used to it. Not sure how it would have worked if she was in nursery so someone else might be able to advice about that.

DD was a lap baby or napped in a buggy. Her nursery were great when she started at 6mo. I told them how she napped at home, but they used some sort of nursery magic and she slept well for them in a cot and after 12mo on amateur on the floor.
