DD is 11 months has never been a great sleeper, she has 2 20 minute naps during the day in our arms, and at night she sleeps in my arms from 8pm until i go to bed where she co-sleeps. she still wakens a couple of times a night.

we have tried to put her in her cot asleep she wakes up screaming, she screams and tries to climb out uf put in awake even it i just try her in it to play

we really need some advice were at out wits end i cant move from 8pm we have to whisper

please give any advice you can i will really appreciate it.

Hi. No direct experience as DS only 7 months old but we co sleep so am concerned we might have similar night problems to you in future. Hence I watch a number of forums for ideas.
I hear the "no cry sleep solution" comes highly recommended & is gentle too. Worth a read anyway....
Your local lll might be worth joining too. They often have a library of books you can borrow. The emphasis is on gentle parenting techniques. The members of my group are a great source of support too. Sleep has been a hot topic at many meetings!!
Good luck Bear
