Just wondering how to encourage naps in day
DS us 7 nearly 8 weeks and ends up wide eyed and over tired at the end of the day.

I think im seeing tired signs. But when I put him down to nap he just lies there and eventually screams to be picked up.

Naps are tricky with my 17 week ds too - he won't be put down for naps (although he sleeps well in cot at night) the only way he will nap in day is on me,DP, in sling, carrier or buggy. It does mean trying to get out and about just pre naps or being a bit trapped. Mine is currently napping on me as i write when really i should be christmas shopping! As if he wakes there is lots of tears. I try every few days to get him to nap in cot and I am sure one day he will get it ????
Does he nap elsewhere can you try it in the short term to help him get less overtired.
