Climber, need bigger cot

ds escapes, and then goes up the bunk bed ladders. He can't sleep in a bed, mainly because for him climbing (windowsill, stairs, anywhere) is so much better than sleep. I can't find any taller cots though

DS started climbing like that and I just had to put a mattress on the floor and a safety gate across his door.

How old is he?

If he can climb ladders just put him in a bed and make the room as safe as possible . He'll do himself more damage by going over the top of a cot !
