hey all,

was just looking into buying some sleeping bags and i don't know whether to get them in 2.5 or 3.5 tog. they're for the winter. Think our bedroom is about 17/18°c.

DS' bedroom is usually 19 or 20 degrees. He wears a long sleeved vest, a flannel sleep suit and has a 2.5 tog sleeping bag and sleeps fine. Any colder than that and he does wake up-but our house is generally on the warm side-depends what your baby is used to temp wise! I know DS would be too cold in a 2.5 tog at 17 degrees as that it what it was on holiday and he kept waking up!

2.5 tog is sufficient up to about 21 degrees.

I agree it depends what your baby is used to.
Our room is about 19-20 overnight and we use a 2.5 tog bag, vest and towlling sleep suit
