...To still get up through the night for a bottle?

My son is 8 months, and finally started sleeping right through, but now he's started waking up at 3/4am wanting a bottle. Its not every night, but maybe 3 or 4 times a week.

I worry that maybe im not feeding him enough through the day, he has food and bottles but isnt interested in the bottles so much through the day.

Is this normal? How much milk should he be having in daytime?

I have a similar problem. DD2 slept through from early on but has majorly regressed since about 6 months, waking for milk once or twice a night, for the majority of time. The last few days have been a little better. I suspect she is taking too much solids, and therefore not hungry enough for milk during the day. But then gets hungry at night. I try to be led by her in terms of how much she eats, but she is a bit of a pig for the solids. I have tried spacing out milk and solid feeds more, and leaving a gap between dinner and her bedtime bottle. Sometimes it works. Sometimes not. Would love to know the answer!

I think my DD was 8 months when we stopped her night bottle, after health visitor advice. Try cutting down the amount you give her an ounce at a time, then switch to water, they will then start drinking/ eating more during the day to compensate, and are less likely to wake at night.
