DD - 9 months today - and always a tricky sleeper. She had been going down reasonably easily at bedtime, about 3 - 3.15 hours after her last nap. But the last few days she's just taken forever to go to sleep. Not crying but rolling around and yipping and playing. This is what she does when she is both overtired and undertired so it's really hard to know the difference. Today I put her down at exactly the same time as last night and yesterday she settled in 5 minutes. Tonight she's still going, an hour later. And now I can tell that she's become seriously overtired as she's super manic. She's had spells of this before but I can't remember how it got sorted!
She wakes anywhere between 5.30 and 7 - with maybe one feed or maybe straight through. She has about half an hour around 9/9.30 and then about 2 hours from around 1.
So- is this regression time or am I trying to put her down too late/ too early? As usual I can't see the wood for the trees..
