Feel like we're going backwards

Can anyone offer any wisdom, please?!
Our 9 months old twins took a good 5 months to start going through the night. From 6 months they did 7-7. It was wonderful. The days were grumble free and the nights quiet. It didn't last!
Since about 8 months they've started waking in the night - once, twice, maybe more. Made more difficult by the fact that they take it in turns. One will struggle up til 2am, the other in the second stretch of the night.
By 6am they want to get up. I'm thinking ahead to when the clocks go forward and really don't think I can cope with 5am starts. It's hard enough as it is.
They have a short nap around 9.30 when we go out and about and have between 3/4 hour and 1 1/2 hours at lumchtime. They go to bed at 7.15 as they are really tired by then.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
I love being a Mummy to twins but am utterly shattered!! x
