Is this normal for a week old baby?

DD2 (a week old) does'nt seem to sleep for more than an hour at a time and is then awake for 3-4 hours at a time, i'm so tierd, i cant remember dd1 being like this. She is also feeding evry 1-2 hours (bottle), should i be feeding her on demand or is this to much? I feel realy useless as i cant settle her at all, she does'nt seem to like her moses basket or bouncy chair and just wants to be cudled all the time, as soon as i put her down she wakes up and crys, please help before i go mad. Is this normal or should i be worried?

I would have said normal, a week ago she was in the womb in an enclosed space feeling safe and cosseted. She is now on the outside and it is huge, DS was like this so I bought a sling and held him close.

I also swaddled him at night.

Can also highly recommend swaddling. I also wish I had used a sling more.
