DD2 (a week old) does'nt seem to sleep for more than an hour at a time and is then awake for 3-4 hours at a time, i'm so tierd, i cant remember dd1 being like this. She is also feeding evry 1-2 hours (bottle), should i be feeding her on demand or is this to much? I feel realy useless as i cant settle her at all, she does'nt seem to like her moses basket or bouncy chair and just wants to be cudled all the time, as soon as i put her down she wakes up and crys, please help before i go mad. Is this normal or should i be worried?

I would have said normal, a week ago she was in the womb in an enclosed space feeling safe and cosseted. She is now on the outside and it is huge, Grin DS was like this so I bought a sling and held him close.

I also swaddled him at night.

Thanks ladyshirlock, think i might buy a sling (good idea).

Can also highly recommend swaddling. I also wish I had used a sling more.
